The National Restaurant Association is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Associate Director, Research & Imperative Support. The Associate Director acts as an internal and external resource for research analysis. This position conducts primary and secondary research to support the Association's Strategic Plan and Imperatives - Food & Healthy Living, Sustainability & Social Responsibility, Jobs & Careers and Entrepreneurship & Profitability. The Associate Director performs analysis of proposed and existing governmental policies and regulations; works with staff, consultants and research providers to define research objectives; plans and executes quantitative/qualitative research projects; develops surveys and analyzes results.
The ideal candidate has eight or more years experience in survey/research; is an experienced project manager; and has experience working with a Federal Agency or Capitol Hill. The Associate Director must have knowledge of survey and research methodologies, economic modeling/revenue scoring and should be familiar with secondary research sources. A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's in Economics or an MBA is highly desirable.
