Associate Director of Political Affairs

Prominent financial services trade association seeks Associate Director of Political Affairs. Responsibilities include the planning, administration and implementation of all NAFCU/PAC programs and activities including: expanding fundraising and increasing participation of NAFCU/PAC participants; educating members about the political process and the role of NAFCU/PAC; providing opportunities for members to financially support members of Congress and candidates for Congress in their districts and states; and, responding to requests from NAFCU members, members of Congress and candidates for NAFCU/PAC support.

Required: Bachelor's degree; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy
in assignments, a professional appearance, and the ability to interact in a capable manner with the Association's members and public; ability to take initiative in starting
and completing tasks on an established schedule with minimal supervision; strong
writing and speaking capabilities; strong computer and database skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Prior experience in grassroots and PAC management; prior trade association or Capitol Hill experience; Internet knowledge, familiarity with software programs designed to manage fundraising efforts preferred.
