Ideal candidate will have at least five to seven years of demonstrated experience on Capitol Hill, with the federal government or an advocacy organization. JD or other advanced degree in liberal arts, science, health, government or other related discipline required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and federal legislative and regulatory work experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with exceptional interpersonal capabilities, strong analytical and interpretive abilities and supervisory experience. Experience working on child health issues preferred. Must be available for weekend work and travel.
