Account Manager, Public Affairs

Public relations/communications firm in Northern VA seeks experienced, detail-oriented self-starter to fill the role of account manager for a major public relations account. Candidate must be organized and have strong planning skills, proven leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and must function well on a team of professionals. The position involves some travel.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in public relations or a similar goal-oriented service industry, and have a demonstrated record of success in past professional experiences. Experience in the energy industry, political campaigns, and personnel management is considered a plus. Proficiency in fundamental office skills like MS Office is a must. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits.
