Account Manager, Grassroots
General Description: Based in Atlanta, the Account Manager, Grassroots will serve as the key liaison between our clients and our grassroots field team. In addition, he/she will oversee our grassroots field team both for fulfillment and recruitment/retention. He/she will also be responsible for managing client expectations, communicating project status information, increasing customer satisfaction and ensuring customer retention.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact and overall relationship manager for assigned customers.
Oversee the implementation and fulfillment of grassroots projects.
Provide strategic guidance to customers on the implementation of their grassroots programs.
Oversee the recruitment and retention of our grassroots field network.
Provide support for other department and company projects as needed.
Required:
Bachelors in political science, communications, public affairs or related field.
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Strong project management proficiency.
Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written).
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to research issues quickly and thoroughly and develop succinct messaging based on research.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, as well as a part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft software suite and tools.
General knowledge of the legislative process and interest in politics.
Desired skills:
Strong knowledge of federal and state legislative and administrative processes with a special emphasis on best practices for effective constituent communications.
Experience working on campaigns, in federal or state legislative position, and/or in the government or public affairs department of a corporation or association.
Experience writing campaign plans, marketing plans and/or field plans.
Strong knowledge of grassroots concepts and best practices.
