SOUTHWEST AIRLINES COMPANY In order to convey SWA' political messages to employees, a theatre
troupe was created named "Political Players." There are many actors in
the group, but the principals are members of the Legislative Awareness
Department. The Department recruits "actors" from the employee base
depending on circumstances.

BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF MINNESOTA To channel its employees' clout into political action, the company
developed an employee grassroots program called Citizen Blue.
