With 100% of the votes counted from Sunday's national election in Brazil, it remains uncertain who will be the next president of this Latin American economic power.
Candidate Dilma Rousseff, former chief of staff to incumbent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, was considered the clear frontrunner just a few weeks ago, but she won only 47 percent of Sunday's votes, forcing an Oct. 31 run-off with Jose Serra, former governor of Sao Paulo state and an influential member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party.
The next few weeks will be critical, as renewed political negotiations and policy agenda discussions will make a lasting impact on national policy and the next Brazilian presidential administration.
Join us on this timely webinar to hear from experts in Brazil on the status of the presidential election, its impact on national politics, projections for the post-election public affairs landscape and what you should know as you craft your public affairs strategies in this dynamic market.
