Breanna Olson is the manager of domestic political involvement programs for the Public Affairs Council. As the lead expert with the Council’s 600-plus member organizations on campaign finance, corporate and association PACs and state government relations issues, Breanna advises members on communications and fundraising strategies, compliance and innovative public affairs techniques.

Along with her collaborative work on public affairs benchmarking reports, individualized consulting, roundtable workshops and teleconferences, Breanna and the political involvement team lead the country’s premier annual PAC, Grassroots and Community Involvement conferences.

Before joining the Council, Breanna was the national finance manager for Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential primary campaign, where she worked with business and industry leaders nationwide to expand major donor and coalition initiatives. During the 2006 election cycle, Breanna implemented a statewide communications steering committee for a top U.S. Senate race that drove key messaging at the state and local levels.

Breanna started her career at Westat in Rockville, Md., as a research analyst after serving as a team captain volunteer at the 2004 National Convention.

A native of Minnesota, Breanna graduated with a bachelor's in political science from the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in 2004. She spent a semester studying abroad in Greece and Italy.
