Mentoring Program
Ashley Mancheni is the Council's senior program associate. In this role she is tasked with creating new programs to supplement the Council's growing public affairs offerings. She oversees the Council's social media resources, including the Council's social media outreach. She manages programming related to social media as well as advises members on best practices when using social media for public affairs. She is in charge of the Council's webinar series and mentoring program. She supports the conference team and works with numerous member companies to improve their PAC and grassroots programs, and corporate community involvement initiatives.
Prior to joining the Council in 2006, Ashley was an intern for the American Academy of Diplomacy, a membership organization of top American diplomats that works to encourage the effective use of diplomacy. Ashley spent one year studying in Salzburg, Austria, where she focused on the German language and European history and culture. In 2004 she attended American University's Washington Semester program, focusing on foreign policy. Originally from Spokane, WA, Ashley received her B.A. in Political Science and German from the University of Portland. She also completed a certification program on campaign finance fundamentals in 2007. She serves as a mentor for The Fund for American Studies.
