Comparative Analyses

Using the databases from recent research projects, comparative analyses allow member to relate their company’s or association’s public affairs roles, resources and activities to those of other companies in specified industries or revenue bands. Comparative analyses can draw from a number of Council survey databases. Those include:

  • Corporate Public Affairs – contains data from 115 participating companies in the 2011 – 2012 State of Corporate Public Affairs survey.
     
  • Corporate and Association Political Action Committees (PACs) – contains data from over 140 companies and associations regarding PAC management in the 2009 – 2010 election cycle.
     
  • International Government Relations – conducted in 2010, provides information and insights from many major companies engaged in managing government relations worldwide.
     
  • Corporate (2010) and Association (2009) Compensation – contains data highlighting salaries, benefits, responsibilities and more for senior and junior level public affairs executives.
     
  • Washington, D.C., OfficeMore than 100 companies’ D.C. offices are profiles in the data from the 2009 Corporate Government Relations Washington Office benchmarking study.
