GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING GROUP ROOM BLOCKS
Once the rooming block is full or after the cut-off date (whichever comes first), you may not be able to obtain the Public Affairs Council group rate or a room at the conference hotel. Therefore, we recommend that you book a room as early as possible.
Also please note that the room rate is only valid for the nights of the conference (check-in taking place on the first advertised day of the conference and check-out on the final day.) Some hotels have been known to honor the room rate on the few days before and after our events, but please be aware that it is not guaranteed and that the room rate may be different.
ROOM RATES & RESERVATIONS
The Public Affairs Council has obtained a special group rate of $259 per night at the Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle Hotel. To make hotel reservations, please call (800) 228-9290 or (202) 775-0800. Make sure to identify yourself as a Public Affairs Council registrant to receive the group rate. The deadline for reservations is August 22.
Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is at Noon. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guarantee with a major credit card. Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid being charged one night's room and tax as a cancellation fee. In the event of cancellation, please make sure to obtain a cancellation number.

• Make first left turn onto 23rd St.
• Take 23rd Street to Washington Circle.
• Follow Washington Circle and take a right turn off the Circle onto New Hampshire Avenue.
• The hotel will be on your right.

• When you get to Washington Circle, make a right onto 22nd St.
• At the third traffic light make a slight right onto New Hampshire Ave., crossing L St.

Driving directions:
• Exit airport onto 95 South.
• Follow signs for 495 to Silver Springs.
• Take 495 to Connecticut Ave. (exit#33) to Washington.
• Approximately 7 miles South, you will approach Dupont Circle. Stay in and go under the circle.
• At the third light, turn right onto M St.
• Continue on M St. to 23rd where you will turn left, then a left on L St. and then a wide left onto New Hampshire Ave.
