Persuasion -- the ability to change someone's opinion or convince
them to take action -- is one of the most valuable skills a public affairs professional can have. Solid persuasion can convince senior managers of your department's value, increase your PAC contributions, recruit impassioned advocates and much more. During this half-day roundtable, our presenter will discuss how to:

  • Use persuasion to demonstrate the value of public affairs to senior managers
  • Persuade others of your position by being aware of expressions, gestures and tone
  • Use persuasion to make your lobbying, grassroots and PAC programs more effective
